THE ANNUAL FR. MILLER PEACE WALK HELD ON MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR.'S BIRTHDAY, MONDAY, JANUARY 16, 2023.
St. Bernardine’s Catholic Church hosted our 10th annual Peace Walk in honor of our late pastor, Rev. Msgr. Edward Miller, and the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Bishop Bruce Lewandoski and Bishop Denis Madden were here to celebrate with us. Also, the first African-American President of Howard Community Collge, Dr. Daria J. Willis was the Guest It was a tough 2022 for us, with 11 homicides occurring within the Edmondson Village Neighborhood. We continue to pray for the victims of violence in our beloved City, and we vow to be a constant witness to the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Archbishop Lori was here to release his new pastoral letter on racism in the Catholic Church. It was a tough 2018 for us, with 8 homicides occurring within a four block radius, including the killing of 7-year old Taylor Hayes. We continue to pray for the victims of violence in our beloved City, and we vow to be a constant witness to the Good News of Jesus Christ.
